When working with a newborn photographer, its a good idea to know how long they have been in business, and if they understand newborn safety. I have been photographing newborn babies for almost 12 years and I have extensive experience with safety and training. I’m Infant CPR certified and I always keep safety in the forefront. Not every baby will go into this pose. Although I will try, I won’t force baby into this position. When I do get this shot – I love it and parents do too!
This pose is called the “Froggy Pose” in the newborn world. On top of spending 2-3 hours with each family during baby’s session, a lot of the work is done after you have gone home. I am very experienced in Photoshop to achieve these poses, created as a composite image. Two images merged into one final image. Here’s an example of how its created!
