Loved working with this sweet couple, and their new additions. A little boy and little girl, TWINS. They were around 10 weeks for their session, as they were in the NICU for awhile prior to the session. I can still capture beautiful shots, even with "older" newborns!

I loved working with sweet little Finn at the San Diego newborn portrait studio for his newborn session. I always ask parents if they have any special requests or themes, and mom said his nursery was "Jungle" theme. So I had to make him into a little lion of course! So sweet!

A “rainbow baby” is a baby that is born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss. In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better. The rainbow is more appreciated having just experienced the storm in comparison.

So excited to share a few images from our collaborative shoot with local backdrop manufacturer Backdrop Outlet (just down the road in Oceanside). So excited to have some of their gorgeous drops in my studio, including the two below! Sweet little four week old Jade (and her gorgeous mama) did a fabulous job for her session! My daughter turned eleven in May. I am so blessed to do what I love as my job every day... snuggling all of your cute babies in the studio makes me think of my own children when they were that small. When people tell you it goes by fast, they are not kidding. And that is ever so evident when you do your own daughter's 11 year old portrait session at the beach. She's growing up in front of my eyes. We had been planning this shoot for a few months. We special ordered this gorgeous Amelia dress from Sew Trendy Accessories, and planned hair and her gorgeous floral crown (made by me from fresh flowers). She gave me her sweet and sassy personality through the shoot, and it was truly a fun time. I'm always just trying to soak in the good times with this kid. Love her dearly. Here are her images!

I'm so happy that I was able to capture newborn photos for this beautiful set of triplet siblings! I shot mamas maternity portraits and babies arrived a week later! These sweeties came to me at 3 months old - all weighing in the 8 pound range! It took me and two assistants five hours to swaddle, shush and rock these babies to sleep for their beautiful session. So much fun!! And I love how their gallery came together.
