I loved working with sweet little Finn at the San Diego newborn portrait studio for his newborn session. I always ask parents if they have any special requests or themes, and mom said his nursery was "Jungle" theme. So I had to make him into a little lion of course! So sweet!

Maternity Photography - Monterey, CA
I did work a little while on vacation in Monterey a few weeks back. I did an engagement shoot, and met up with a friend and her husband, who are expecting their first baby in just a few months! They live just 20 minutes outside of Monterey, so they joined us for dinner! Before dinner though, we headed off to Old Town Monterey. Monterey Old Town Historic District, which is a National Historic Landmark, includes buildings from the 18th-19th centuries that illustrate the Spanish colonial era of the town, including the Old Customhouse (the only customhouse north of Mexico from 1828-1845), the Thomas Larkin House, 1835, one of the first two story adobes in California, and Casa Alvarado, the home of Juan Bautista Alvarado, the governor of California from 1836 to 1842. All I can say is PERFECT for portraits! It was slightly overcast and the lighting was perfect. Here are some images from the afternoon!
Sacramento Birth Photography - Amazing First Moments
Wow! This past Sunday evening, I had the privledge of photographing the first moments of life for a sweet little girl named Hannah! I was hired by the parents to photograph their birth experience, and they were not due until this week. They knew that I was out of town this weekend in Tahoe. I missed her actual birth by just a half hour, but I was still able to catch those first few hours. Amazing. I was so honored to be a part of these first moments... Baker Beach, San Francisco Photographer
What a perfect day in San Francisco... After a great visit to Pier 39 with the kids, I could not resist a trip over to Baker Beach with the most amazing view of the Golden Gate bridge. It was quite windy, but still spectacular. So thankful that Spring is on it's way!!

They are a charitable organization that serves two main purposes – celebrating life and supporting the cause.
Through their professional photographer network, we are all helping breast cancer patients to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory by scheduling a session within 12 months after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause. There is no cost or obligation to the breast cancer patient. Clients participating in a Think Pink Session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as a set of 10 small prints from the session. They will also receive a discount on any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.
To support the cause, they have partnered with The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. All funds generated through donations and various fundraising efforts are paid directly to The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.
