San Diego's Best Maternity Photoshoot Locations
You may choose either a studio maternity photography session in our San Diego-based studio or an outdoor maternity photoshoot session. Both are unique from one another, and both are very beautiful. For those who prefer the outdoors, we have several curated locations throughout San Diego, from beaches to the pier ocean setting to private parks and gardens to the picturesque Southern California terrain that we can recommend based on the setting that you are looking for. Your spouse/partner can join in the session and any other children you have.
What Should I Wear For A Maternity Photoshoot?
We have a collection of almost 100 beautiful and unique maternity photoshoot dresses and gowns available for our clients to use during their maternity sessions. If you have your partner or children join your maternity pictures, you need to pick your outfit first and theirs second to compliment your look. Neutral solid colors are the classic choice for a reason. Accessorizing for an added pop of color is a fun and attractive way to tie everyone in the photo together.
Should I Get My Makeup Done For Maternity Pictures?
We highly recommend having hair and makeup done for your session. Maternity sessions are photographed at an outdoor location of your choice in the San Diego area or at our Carlsbad photography studio. We have a collection of almost 100 beautiful and unique maternity gowns available to use. We also work with a few amazing San Diego’s finest makeup artists available for hair and makeup for your shoot. Our makeup artists are experienced with maternity photoshoot sessions and know what looks good on camera, and they always do a beautiful job for our clients. This service is available for an additional fee.
