Its been a lovely weekend, photographing some sweet and precious babies!  I enjoyed meeting this sweet family today.  This is their first baby, and she was an angel at just two weeks old!  She was asleep when I arrived, and she slept through us posing her and moving her little arms around.  She was a little champ!  Here is your “sneek peek” – I hope that you love them as much as I do…

It was a pleasure working with these two new parents, and their sweet little bundle L.  It is challenging working with older newborns, and at 5 weeks, she didn’t want to be out of her parent’s arms!  Who can blame her, dad was the bouncing master… and she fell alseep every time she ended up in his arms.  She was so adorable, and we did manage to get some really adorable shots.  More to come soon, but here is the sneek peek for mom, dad and proud grandma.

Ok, I have NO patience, whatsoever.  I had a session today with the sweetest family.  The same afternoon, my family and I drove to Tahoe for a family visit, and I did some editing on the way because I had to see the photos, NOW!    I did their maternity portraits at the Rosegarden at the Capital a few months ago, and I’ve been so excited to hear the news that their daughter had arrived.  She is SOOOO beautiful, and she was so easy to work with today!  She was the cutest, sweetest little button!  I’m excited to share this sneak peek with the family – congratulations to you, and I know you will get some rest soon!

I’m a little behind on my blogging right now.  Things have been super busy, which I LOVE!  I had a Marathon Weekend with my other business, Lovely Boudoir, this past weekend and I’ve been really swamped with editing.  I want to share this adorable little 6 day old guy with you.  What a sweetie!

I had a great session yesterday with a wonderful family of four… or should I say almost the entire family including grandma, two aunties, and a little cousin.  It made for a festive atmosphere!  It was great to meet all of you.  Here are a few “sneak peeks” from your session.  I hope you enjoy!!

I love photographing newborns!  This little bundle was so sweet – just 11 days old.  She was a perfect angel during her shoot, and she let me move her around as much as I wanted to.  Just precious.  Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.  Thanks mom and dad, and big brother for having me to your home!

Had a great visit at Lake Tahoe with family.  My little niece is the cutest thing EVER with her beautiful blue eyes and fun little personality.  I could not resist some snow photos.  Enjoy!

I looooove what I do!  Have I said that before?  I had the privilege to photograph a sweet little six day old baby girl named Audrina today.  Her parents were the sweetest people ever… and Audrina was a perfect angel for her shoot.  She slept through the whole three hour session.  That is heaven for someone who loves to photograph babies.  She was so tiny!!!  Just a little over 5 pounds.  I had a great time today – so mom and dad… here are your sneak peeks.  I am still editing and there are a lot of other great images that I’ll have ready for you to view next week!

I’m looking for moms due in March or April, who would like newborn photos taken for free!  The session MUST take place during baby’s first week of life.  Session will take about 4-5 hours to allow for a non-rushed atmosphere and plenty of time between shooting for feeding, etc.  I have worked with a handful of newborns, and I really enjoy the challenge.  I love doing the less posed newborn shoots, but I have some props and very artistic shots that I want to get.  You must sign a model release so that I use the images to promote, and on my website.  The shoot will be free, and you will receive two high resolution images with a release.  Other products and prints may be ordered separately.  We can do this in the comfort of your own home.  If interested, please email me at stacey @ lovelybabyphotography.com and let me know a little bit about you, if you’re having a boy or a girl, and why you want to do a newborn shoot!  I will select two families – and would love to work with both a boy and a girl!!
