I am ready!  Christmas is only 25 days away, our tree is up, decorations abound in our home, and it smells like the season!  I just finished designing one of our family holiday cards.  I am very indecisive when it comes to holiday cards every year.  I can’t stand to send out just one design, so I make 2 or 3 every year.  I did one set of 25 in letterpress, and then this set of 25 in Luxe Trifold.  Hmmm, will I get around to one more set?  Just wanted to share.  I do create these for clients as well!  Email me if you are interested in ordering.

Our lovely family photos (bottom inside flap and back of the card) were taken by my friend Katie Baldi.  We traded family sessions this year…  LOVE them!  :)

Quick sneak peek for this beautiful couple, expecting their baby in early 2012. Can’t wait to meet their sweet little girl!

Just a quick little share of this beautiful family.  This is my friend, and fellow photographer, Katie’s family.  Her three children are SO adorable, and being kids of a photographer, they know how to work the camera.   We traded family shoots this year, and I’m so glad.  I love how our family portraits turned out (taken in Tahoe in the summer), and it was really fun working with her family.  I have to say, the are my “What to Wear” family.  They dressed so cute for the session!  I will share more later, but had to show this adorable sneak peek!

I had a wonderful weekend visiting family in San Jose for a few days.  I also did a Bay Area mini session during my visit.  It was a very rainy cloudy weekend in the forecast, so I made arrangements to shoot at Santana Row.  (Photographers – there is an hourly fee to shoot here… just a heads up).  There were so many fabulous spots to shoot, it was really fun for me.  I had four lovely families come out… some that I met for the first time that day, one family that I have known for a long time, and one family whose newborn photos I shot!  It was great to work with everyone, and I love how the images turned out!  More coming soon!

It is finally slowing down after a busy summer for me with weddings and portrait work.  I am very behind on blogging, but I wanted to share a fun fall afternoon that I spent with my kids at Apple Hill.  I love visiting this region, and I hope that my kids will never forget the fun day trips that we take each year.
