I love what I do!  There is nothing like having the opportunity to capture these beautiful new little people as they arrive.  Today was no exception, little Miss Taylor did a great job during her session today.  We got some amazing shots, including a few with the family pet.  He was a super sweet and friendly dog, who did a great job for his part in the shoot also.  :)  It was great meeting all of you and I hope that you enjoy your “sneak peek”!

I met with this lovely couple today at a Roseville golf course, and we had a great time with their photography session!  This gorgeous red head and her man are expecting their first baby, a little boy, Mason.  They are both just beaming and ready to meet their little guy.  I had a great time during their session, and the location could not have been more gorgeous.  Chris, thanks for being SUCH a good sport, and an excited daddy to be.  You’re both going to be great parents.  Thanks to both of you, and I cannot wait to meet your little guy in a few months!

So I am a creative at heart.  I have been since I was young. I can remember doing tons of little arts and crafts projects with my mom when I was a small girl.  I would have girlfriends spend the night, and that is what I wanted to do – make stuff.  And I still love to make stuff!  I am always on the hunt for beautiful props for my photo sessions.  I buy a lot of things, but I also make things when I can.  I can’t knit, so any knit hats or bows I have purchased from other talented crafty women.  I came up with an idea for this gorgeous headband, and I have had a few other photographers ask about them, so I am going to sell a few on etsy!  If you’re interested, here is the listing.

When Georgia’s mom called me and told me that her daughter was turning three weeks old, I was a bit worried that it was too late to catch that “new” stage that babies are in those first two weeks of life.  At three weeks, they are not as moldable, bendable, curled up in a ball and poseable.  But we can still get some beautiful shots!  Georgia was a sleepy little one, and she let us get some great shots of her.  It was great meeting you mama, and I will look forward to getting some family shots with all three of you once she’s a little older.
